Due to the current world issues with COVID-19 we at Associated Orthopaedics of Kingsport are concerned about our patient’s and employee’s health and safety. Effective immediately we now have a policy in place with regards to office visits. ALL adults will be seen by themselves with no visitors or family members allowed in the exam room. Children under 18 will be allowed one visitor in the exam room. No more than one person may accompany an adult into the building and the visitor will be asked to wait in the waiting room or in their vehicle while the patient is being seen. Phone conversations with family for discussions of care of a loved one will be available if requested. Anyone coming into our office, patient or family member, will be screened and if you have a temperature over 100 degrees you will be asked to leave the building. Post-operative patients will be seen but if running a fever or sick they will be isolated immediately for patient safety. We do ask that if you or a family member are exhibiting any symptoms or have been exposed to someone with symptoms to please reschedule your appointment. We at Associated Orthopaedics of Kingsport appreciate your understanding of these new policies as we all navigate through this uncertain time together.
Anyone who enters our building is required to wear a facemask or face covering.
