KINGSPORT, TN — Associated Orthopaedics recently announced its inaugural class for the 2017 Summer Internship Program. The group congratulated Noel Jeansonne and Tyler Holt for being accepted into the eight week program. The Summer Internship Program (SIP) provides experience in the operational management and clinical function of a medical practice. The purpose of the exposure is to encourage students who are college undergraduates focused on pre-medicine studies with an interest in the field of surgery to understand and appreciate the day-to-day operations of a busy medical clinical environment. The program runs a total of eight (8) weeks with each focus week designed to provide exposure to a specific part of the clinical environment including, but not limited to, patient logistics, nursing, mid-level shadowing and surgical rotations.
Noel Jeansonne is currently a second year, junior standing student at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio with a particular interest in Biomedical Engineering and Pre-Medicine. Tyler Holt is currently a second year student at Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina with areas of interest including Surgery, Neuroscience and Sports Medicine.
Associated Orthopaedics will welcome these two outstanding students to the program on June 5th, 2017 and look forward to their successful completion of the program on July 28th, 2017.
